How to Track AdSense and Adsterra Revenue in One Dashboard

AdRevFlow is a revenue dashboard for publishers who use Google AdSense, Adsterra, or both. It brings daily earnings into one view while keeping each platform's own metrics separate, so Page RPM never gets confused with CPM.

Published 4 min read

The short version: sign in with Google, connect either platform from Settings, and let the first sync finish. You can then check total revenue, platform trends, sites, and data freshness without reopening two reporting dashboards.

What AdRevFlow does

The dashboard stores one daily series for each connected platform and presents both on the same date range. Revenue can be added together, while platform-specific rates stay labeled with their real denominator.

  • See combined and per-platform revenue on the dashboard.
  • Compare site, ad unit, placement, and country breakdowns where the platform provides them.
  • See when each connection last synced and whether it is retrying or needs to be reconnected.
  • Export the same daily data shown on screen when you use Pro.

What you need before connecting

  • For AdSense: the Google account that can open the AdSense reports you want to track.
  • For Adsterra: a reporting API token from the API page in your publisher dashboard.
  • About two minutes for setup, plus the platform's own reporting delay before today's estimates appear.

Connect your accounts in three steps

StepWhat to doWhat happens
1Choose Start free and continue with GoogleAdRevFlow creates your account and opens Connections
2Connect AdSense, paste an Adsterra token, or do bothOnly reporting access is requested
3Wait for the first sync, then open DashboardRecent daily revenue and connection freshness appear

You do not have to connect both platforms. Start with the one you already use, confirm that its newest date looks right, then add the second connection when ready.

How to read the dashboard

AreaUse it forCheck before acting
Total revenueA quick view of earnings in the selected periodThe newest sync time and whether figures are estimated
Revenue trendFinding days where income movedWhether one platform or one site caused the change
Platform pagesReading AdSense or Adsterra metrics correctlyPage RPM and CPM use different denominators
Connection statusKnowing whether data is currentRetrying can recover automatically; reconnect required cannot

A useful publisher routine

  • Daily: confirm the latest sync, then check whether total revenue moved outside its normal range.
  • Weekly: compare platforms and sites to find the source of the change instead of reacting to the total alone.
  • Monthly: wait for platform finalization, then export or record the period you use for bookkeeping.

Why use it instead of tabs and spreadsheets

Manual routineWith AdRevFlow
Open two dashboards and match date filtersUse one date range for both daily series
Copy totals into a spreadsheetRead combined and separate totals from the same source
Remember which rate uses which denominatorKeep Page RPM and CPM labeled by platform
Guess whether missing data is a bad day or a stale feedRead the last sync and connection state before deciding

Free and Pro, without hidden limits

Free includes both platforms, the core dashboard, the most recent 7 days, and daily sync. Pro adds hourly sync, longer and custom ranges, advanced reports, Excel export, and progressive import of available history. Platform retention still applies; AdSense provides up to three years through its reporting API.

Important limits to understand

  • Revenue is reported by the platforms and can change when estimates are finalized.
  • Hourly or daily sync does not remove the platform's own reporting lag.
  • AdRevFlow currently supports Google AdSense and Adsterra only.
  • A read-only connection cannot change ads, payment details, or account settings.
Disconnecting a platform removes its stored credential and its synced history from AdRevFlow. Export anything you need before disconnecting.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to connect both platforms?
No. AdRevFlow works with AdSense only, Adsterra only, or both together.
Can AdRevFlow change my ads or payment settings?
No. AdSense uses the adsense.readonly permission and Adsterra uses a reporting token. The product reads reports but cannot edit your advertising accounts.
How quickly should new revenue appear?
Free connections sync daily and Pro connections sync hourly. The platform may still take a few hours to publish today's estimated figures.
What happens if a connection expires?
Stored history remains visible while a retryable problem recovers. Reauthorizing the same AdSense account preserves its history. Because Adsterra provides no account id, replacing its token requires an explicit disconnect, which removes that platform's stored history before a clean reconnect.
